I designed the book cover and poster for the 'Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage' book by Haruki Murakami. In consideration of the colours, which are a strong theme of the book use red, blue, white and black as the theme. Another main focus of the design concept is the friendship between each other. Moreover, the use of water paints resembled and symbolized that, although Tsukuru’s friends had left their friendship between him makes it inseparable. Like how once watercolour paint is mixed, it can never be separated again.
